Trust & compliance
Lead generation and telemarketing carry real regulatory exposure in the US. Here's specifically how Affmonetize approaches it — not as marketing copy, but as the mechanics that decide whether a campaign goes live.
Consent (TCPA)
Applies mainly to Leads & Calls verticals
Any campaign involving outbound calls or texts requires prior express written consent tied to a specific, identified advertiser — not a blanket consent shared across multiple buyers. This follows the FCC's 2023 update closing the so-called 'lead generator loophole.'
Consent capture (checkbox language, timestamp, IP address, and the exact disclosure shown to the consumer) is retained and tied to every lead and call record, so it can be produced if an advertiser or regulator ever asks for it.
Publishers running call or SMS-based campaigns go through a consent-flow review before their first live campaign, not after a complaint.
Advertising & marketing claims (FTC)
Applies to all verticals
Advertiser offer copy and publisher landing pages are reviewed against FTC Act and Telemarketing Sales Rule guidance before a campaign is approved — this includes checking for unsubstantiated claims, missing material disclosures, and misleading government or brand affiliation.
Endorsements, testimonials, and comparison claims used in creative must be accurate and substantiated; both advertisers and publishers are responsible for what appears in their own materials.
Consumer privacy (CCPA & state law)
Applies to all verticals
Consumers can submit a Do Not Sell or Share request, and we honor opt-outs across the network rather than just our own systems.
Data collected through intake forms is used only for the purpose disclosed to the consumer at the point of collection.
Traffic quality & fraud prevention
Applies to all verticals
Automated checks flag duplicate submissions, disposable or invalid contact details, known bad-actor IP ranges, and unusual submission-timing patterns before a lead or conversion is billed to an advertiser.
Publishers found running incentivized, bot, or misrepresented traffic are removed from the network — this protects payout integrity for compliant publishers as much as it protects advertisers.
Tracking & attribution
Technical
Conversions are tracked server-to-server (S2S postback) rather than by browser cookie or pixel, so attribution holds up under Safari ITP, Chrome's Privacy Sandbox changes, and ad blockers.
Every click and conversion carries a unique click ID that both sides can independently verify in their dashboard — no black-box attribution.
Compliance documentation, on request
Advertisers evaluating the network can request our consent-flow documentation and publisher vetting process directly.
